Week 1 Continued: Getting to Know Teddy
Teddy loves his daddy in so many ways. Here's Josh feeding him the bottle on his 2nd day of life.
Teddy's nurse, Michelle, made him this birth announcement-which was taped to his crib. She was one of our favorite nurses in the NICU. She taught us how to burp, feed a bottle, and change his diaper.
Mommy and Teddy enjoying some time together.
Just like his dad...
Dad and Teddy make the same faces. Look at his little IV.
Our sweet boy is getting bigger every day in the NICU.
Teddy's Aunt Danielle made him this piece of art for his room. It was there for him when he got home.

Week 1: Getting Stronger Everyday
Theodore Michael McKenrick was born on Thursday, March 17th at 1:07 AM. Mom and Dad were exhausted after a 27 hour labor, so was baby!
This was where Teddy stayed on his first night, in the NICU. The set-up looks pretty scary but he was in very good hands with the nurses. Mom and Dad went to go visit him as soon as they could early on Thursday morning.
Mom and Teddy snuggling for the first time!
Daddy giving Teddy a bottle. Dad is a natural, who knew! Teddy needed to work on keeping his food down for the first couple of days. That meconium is pretty gross stuff!
